Developmental Support For Infants

After decades of teaching The Feldenkrais Method® in Germany, Israel and the United States, Dr. Shelhav developed Child’Space to specifically support the cognitive, social and motor development of infants. After being personally trained by Dr. Feldenkrais in Israel, Shelhav received her master’s degree from Boston University.

She received her doctorate from the University of Heidelberg. Her thesis, “Working with Brain Damaged Children Using the Feldenkrais Method”, was published in 1989. It examines the effects of the Feldenkrais Method® on learning processes and other aspects of childhood.

 

Dr. Shelhav has helped thousands of children worldwide through her work. She has also certified approximately 150 Child’Space practitioners in North America and Europe.
